Attestation

Consular Attestation: Academic certificate, relationship verification, marriage registration, birth registration, death registration etc. documents originated from concerned government authority of Nepal and attested by the Department of Consular Services, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nepal, are attested from the Embassy.

Driving License issued from Nepal will be translated from the Embassy.

Procedures for consular attestation

1. An application (Click here to download)
2. Original and a photocopy of the document to be attested from the embassy.
3. Attestation fee of CAD 70.00 for each document (As of July 17, 2018) and can be paid by Debit Card (if in person) or Bank Draft / Money Order in the name of “Embassy of Nepal, Ottawa”
4. Returning self-addressed envelope in case of not appearing personally.
